When entering the cottage you go through a small hallway into the lounge, which contains a sofa, 2 arm chairs, a breakfast table, and a 32″ flat screen TV with a DVD and VCR player. Heating is by electric fire, and 2 oil-filled electric heaters should you need them. The kitchen and lounge are linked by a dining area with two sided folding gate leg table. The kitchen has all the usual amenities, including microwave, new electric fan oven with four hobs, fridge and Bosch washing machine. The tumble dryer is in the separate utility room. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms are twin rooms and have a convector heater in each of them for heating. There are memory foam mattress toppers fitted, should you need them. There are high tog and low tog duvets for use depending on weather. There is an optional electric fan in the master bedroom. The bathroom has a new bath/shower and shaver power point. The utility room has a garden table and chairs, with a clothes line for airing clothes.
People who book the cottage have the option of bringing their own bed linen and towels, or if they prefer, by prior arrangement, we can hire them for you at a cost of about £10 per person for sheets duvet cover, pillow cases, and towels. More details available upon contact via the website.
The cottage, owned by my wife Jenny, is furnished holiday accommodation and is available to book for periods of one week or more from 1st March to 31st October.
